Why does it take me so long to try foods that everyone else has long since discovered to be super delicious and good for you? Why have I let myself miss out like this? I mean, really…smoothies. It has ‘smooth’ right there in it’s name. Why did I believe I wouldn’t like the texture? Why have I watched Nelson enjoy smoothies while I politely declined with, “No thanks, I don’t do smoothies.” But, I think this blog is making me a changed woman–because I started trying things like smoothies (I know…go crazy Liz!)…and surprise, surprise…they are smooth and delicious, and I like them…I really like them. Well, I’ve got some catching up to do. So onto today’s treat.
You’ve seen our green smoothie, and our pack-a-punch blueberry smoothie, and now this berry-licious smoothie. There are a ton of different kinds of smoothies and Nelson’s made a lot more than we’ve posted so far (we’ll post more…promise). He also loves, loves, loves smoothies of all kinds, but this berry-licious smoothie is his FLavourite (ok, for the record, that was totally my word, not his).
Try out this recipe and let us know what you think. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
