One of our biggest challenges when we started our blog was that everything was so new and we didn’t really know where to start or what to start with. Knowing where to find help is very important. My suggestion is that you bookmark sites that have good blogging information and blogging communities. This can include photography resources, writing resources, food ad network resources, cooking resources and any other resources that’ll help you become a better blogger. Once you get started, you’ll quickly find out what your weak areas are and what you need the most help with.
By far, our favourite resource has been Food Blogger Pro. The site is run by Bjork and Lindsay. They are AMAZING at what they do. They have been blogging for years and have turned blogging into an art! They do lots of testing to find out what works and what doesn’t and they’re always happy to find their findings. There’s a cost to subscribing to their website, but it’s worth every penny! Once you’re a member you get access to so much information all in one place… videos, podcasts, discounts, support from a very active blogger community, weekly emails with useful tips, etc. If you’re going to start a blog and want great resources at your finger tips, this is the place to go. They even post a monthly earnings report to give their readers an idea of costs and blogging earning potential. Click the link below to get started!
